Excellent! What Can I Bring offers recipes for everyone no matter your skill level!

I made 3 recipes, loved them, and will be working through this cookbook, for sure.

SUBWAY COOKIES p. 171

10 out of 10! These were just the perfect cookies: rich but not too rich, soft in the center but slightly cripsy on the edges, very slight hint of peanut butter but not to peanut-buttery. They freeze well too. Would highly recommend this recipe.

SHRIMP COCKTAIL CEVICHE p. 77

8/10 This recipe tasted just ok until I doubled the lime juice and then it became a 10/10. I like to serve this with tortilla scoops instead of saltines.

WHITE BEANS AND TINNED FISH p.

10/10 Bring this to your next get together! SO easy and full of flavor.

The last chapter of the book is called Present Moment. Casey Elsass offers really great food gifts to bring to a gathering. This is a great idea! The Bread Dipping Oil, p 219, is next on my list. I just love the idea of bring this oil and a baguette to my next invite.

I love gifting my friends who love to cook my new favorite cookbook. This one is on my short list for gifts this year. Tie a bright ribbon around it to make it feel special.
