The world of lighting is enormous. It's design and selection is an art form which can transform spaces we inhabit. Recently, Christine selected lighting for her home. We are sharing the mood board, her selections and budget along with links. For fun, Angelena is making her own selections with a larger budget (not fair, we know). We are excited to see the differences!

Christine made selections that served their proper role in each location and providing a dynamic design that would add something interesting in their home. They both gravitate toward modern lighting with a strong point of view.

LIGHTING BUDGET $10,400

I selected the fixtures with a few things in mind. First, Christine and Gavin were looking for dynamic lighting designs. I love bringing in texture and elements that refer in some way to nature while relating to each other.

Note that I selected two alternate items that didn't make the cut as Christine insists that I cannot go over budget or make any change orders. Number 10 is so dreamy and would be my selection if a dining room chandelier was needed.

7 alt) Master bath sconce $979

10) Dining room chandelier $3199
